Nazarene Ministry of Help was established in February of 1992 by collecting clothes, food and medical equipment to assist the suffering communities of the former Soviet Union. Over the years we have expanded our branch in Oregon to Washington, California and Idaho and into the republics of the former Soviet Union such as; Ukraine, Moldova, Kazakhstan, Russia, Kyrgyzstan and Belarus.
We have organized rehabilitation centers, nursing facilities for the elderly and facilities for homeless people in the capitals of the republics mentioned above. In addition we assist low income families with food and clothing so the children can finish their education and have a better future. The average family in Russia has eight to fifteen children.
