Terms of Sponsorship

We've set up some basic guidelines for participation in our program in order to make your agreement to help an individual orphan or sibling group as easy as possible. If you agree to these guidelines please email us and we will provide you with a list of available orphans.  

1.  Helper of individual orphan(s) will send the first care package within one month of agreeing to the sponsorship agreement.

2.  Helper of individual orphan(s) will send at least 2 care packages for every year of sponsorship.  Please consider including something small for each of the other orphans in the shelter.

3.  Helper will include a personal letter to the child in each package. (E-Mail is available at some orphanages. If the Helper would like to e-mail the child, that e-mail must come through the Life2Orphans staff.  Internet usage can be costly, slow and unreliable in Ukraine and we want to make sure they are not burdened by e-mail receipts.)

4.  Helper understands that Life2Orphans is not liable for care packages that are lost or damaged while in route to Ukraine.

5.  Helper is responsible for all shipping costs related to getting the package to the child.

6.  Life2Orphans is not an adoption program it provides aid to orphanages.

7.  Helper agrees to all of the terms listed above and that violation of this agreement gives Life2Orphans the right to terminate the relationship with said helper.

8.  Should the the orphans you are sponsoring be fortunate enough to be adopted or reunited with their extended family, we will allocate you another orphan.
