This center is home to 105 babies aged 0-4 years.
NOTE: The orphanage does not need any clothing, bedding or toys at this time.

From Tony and Sveta after an assessment visit in
August 2004:
"The first impression of this Orphanage was that it was a well built
building in a quite neighborhood of Kharkiv. The
building was newly painted, in good repair, and the playground equipment was
not super but by no means inadequate. From my tour within the building, I
could easily see they were understaffed and little money was available for
furnishings. The cribs were bare except for sheets, as were the walls. There
were no mobiles hanging anywhere and I was informed by Sveta
that the baby food was not of good quality. The orphanage has 1 single
stroller and 4 single carriages. Please note that I was not allowed to take
pictures inside the building."
