There are approximately 155 children at Kremenchuk: 45 infants up to 1 year and 110 children ages 1-4.
There are 19 disabled children

High Priority Needs:

  • 200 x sheets – cribs/bed
  • 250 towels  (easy to find in wholesale lots on Ebay!)
  • 200 x romper suits (crawlers)
  • 200 x tights (European style)
  • 1 x dryer for laundry
  • 2 x washing machine for laundry

Ongoing Monthly Needs:
  • 220 pounds baby washing powder 
  • 55 pounds bleach
  • 20 pounds baby soap
  • 50 x baby cream
  • 50 x baby toothpaste
  • 50 x baby oil
  • 10 x baby powder
  • 50 x tissues

Medical Needs:
  • Quartz lamps - 50 items
  • Plastic thermometer - 160 items
  • Disinfecting device for test tubes – 1 item
  • Electronic baby scale – 5 items

Toys:
  • Small bicycles - 40 items
  • Swings - 20 items
  • Legos - any/all sizes
  • Cars/trucks (larger sizes) - 40 items
  • Bead table
  • Puzzles

Laundry Needs:
  • Steam ironing press
  • Washing machine w/ boiling program for 50 kg - 2
  • Drying machine for 50 kg - 1
  • Soap – 400 pieces
  • Toilet paper – 60

Group Needs:
  • Strollers (preferably double or triple strollers) - 17
  • High chairs - 50
  • Potties - 100
  • Pillows – 160
  • Small refrigerator – 10 items
  • Soft furniture (arm chairs w/ vinyl coverage) - 30 items
  • Chairs for dinner tables – 60 NOTE: These are only $8 each!
  • 15 Dining tables
  • Lavatory seats – 14
  • Sinks - 30
  • Bath tubs – 10
  • Beds for Toddlers - 30 (18 delivered 1/05) (purchase on MAIN DONATION PAGE)
  • Cribs - 30 (15 delivered 1/05) (purchase on Kremenchuk’s Crib Project page)
  • Changing tables - 30
  • Single burner hot plates – 50 items
  • Vacuum cleaners – 10 items
  • Nipples for bottles – 300 items (Fast flow type - Evenflo brand)
  • Cleft palate bottles/nipples - Haberman Feeder nipples or Dr. Brown's nipples found at WalMart - ongoing need

Kitchen Needs:
  • Meat processor (10-15 kg per day) - 3 items
  • Grain processor - 1 item
  • Kettles – 40 items
  • Pots/Pans - 150 of various sizes
  • Stainless steel dishes and sinks

Miscellaneous:
  • Fax machine
  • Copier
  • Computer (now required for registering children at NAC)
  • Sewing machine
