Special Project:
WELCOME PACKS!
25 Welcome Packs were sent out the end of July cram packed with school
supplies, hygiene items that included shampoo, soap, toothpaste/toothbrush, comb/brush, and a washcloth
and hand towel for each new
transferring student. I also included coloring books, crayons, scissors and
some simple math workbooks. There were several treats, hair
pretties, lotions and Kelly dolls and beaded bracelets for the girls. The
boys packs had treats, assorted Nerf Balls, and toy cars.
A special Thank-You to those that contributed to the needs of
these new kiddos-this includes my family for once again stepping up to the
plate with all of the packing involved! These kids will indeed feel more
welcome in their new surroundings because of the packs that
were filled and sent with so much love from all of you!
*Remember this is and will continue to be a yearly project!!! We need as
many donations as possible as there is no set number of new students each
year. Any extra items will be donated to the children's Christmas gifts. I
will accept boxes sent to my home now up until June of each year for this
